The Boston Kidney Walk is a fundraiser designed to raise both awareness and dollars for the fight against kidney disease. All walkers are encouraged to raise as much money as possible from family, friends, co-workers and business associates in support of their participation in the Walk. 26 million American adults have chronic kidney disease and another 20 million are at risk. The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical community and the general public to celebrate life and support the Foundation's mission.
